In this case study, we’ll explore how we helped a SaaS client grow their organic traffic from 9.45k to 28k in just 90 days.

By focusing on quick SEO wins, such as fixing technical errors, optimizing content, and enhancing internal linking, we significantly boosted their visibility and conversions.

Objectives and Challenges

The client had a clear goal: to increase organic traffic and generate more leads for their SaaS product.

However, they were facing several obstacles.

First, their website was built on Next.js, which posed technical SEO challenges due to the lack of initial SEO setup. Second, many product pages were underperforming, ranking on the second or third page of search results.

Additionally, the client had a tight budget, which restricted our efforts to primarily on-page SEO fixes and internal linking, rather than a broader link-building campaign.

Our objective was to deliver fast results by resolving these key challenges and positioning the client for long-term success, all within their limited budget.

Implementation Process

We approached the project in three main phases: technical SEO fixes, content optimization, and setting up a conversion-focused marketing strategy.

Each phase was designed to deliver immediate improvements while building a foundation for sustainable growth.

Technical SEO Fixes

We began by conducting a comprehensive website audit to identify and fix existing technical issues that were affecting the site’s crawlability, indexability, and user experience.

Our audit revealed multiple problems, including duplicate content, poor URL structures, missing H1 tags, and slow page load speeds.

To address these issues, we ensured that only one version of the homepage was indexed, which eliminated potential duplicate content problems.

We then added missing canonical tags to guide search engines to the correct page versions and filled in missing metadata to improve the site’s search visibility.

Additionally, we added H1 tags on key product pages to enhance page structure and optimized the website’s URL structure to make it more user- and search engine-friendly.

By strengthening the site’s internal linking strategy, we distributed link equity more effectively across pages, boosting the overall SEO value of the site.

Content Strategy & Execution

Once the technical fixes were in place, we turned our attention to content optimization.

We started by identifying high-impact opportunities through Google Search Console (GSC). Using GSC, we found product pages that were ranking between positions 4-10 for high-impression keywords.

Our goal was to move these pages into the top three positions.

To do this, we updated product page titles, meta descriptions, and headings with the targeted keywords, improving both relevance and on-page SEO.

We also enhanced the body content to be more informative and persuasive, driving conversions.

In addition to product page optimization, we updated category pages by adding targeted keywords in headings, metadata, and throughout the content.

By submitting these changes to GSC for reindexing, we were able to improve rankings quickly.

We also optimized the client’s blog content, aligning it with their product pages.

By embedding product mentions within the blog content and linking to relevant product pages, we were able to increase traffic and conversions simultaneously.

Results & Outcomes

Within just 90 days, we successfully increased the client’s traffic from 9.45k to 28k.

The client’s product pages started ranking in the top three positions for key high-impression keywords, resulting in a 3-5% conversion rate.

Our technical SEO improvements boosted the site’s crawlability and indexability, while the optimized content attracted high-quality traffic that converted into paying customers.

Although we haven’t yet implemented a link-building campaign, the on-page SEO strategies we applied delivered remarkable results within the client’s budget.
